Heidi Hatch co-anchors Fox 35 Morning News from 6-9 AM. She has a dog named Sinda or "Sinda- rella." Sinda is a rare red color and is a "mini" Shih Tzu (that's the nice way of saying she's the runt of the litter). Sinda has been known to flirt with neighbor dogs and has the unseemly habit of greeting new friends by sniffing their rear ends. We're working with her on manners! Sinda is not your average dog.  She rarely if ever barks- she also won't jump for doggy treats and would prefer sleeping on the back of the couch to just about any other napping location.  Sounds suspiciously like a cat- but we've checked and she is indeed a dog. Sinda spent the first couple years of her life with a "mean breeder lady".  When she couldn't have babies without a c-section her mean mom gave her up for adoption.  That's when the ever loving Hatch family stepped in to adopt her.  The only reason she was welcomed into the Hatch family was because of a certain young "princess/kindergartener" who was lonely and looking for companionship. Sinda's favorite part of the day is when her mommy (Heidi Hatch) comes home from work and catches a little cat nap. Sinda likes to sleep on Mommy's back. Sinda- again is currently single but is not looking for love.  She's happy living the swinging single life... but is always up for making friends.

Tom Johnson co-anchors FOX 35's morning newscast from 5-9 a.m. Tom has two cats. Allie is very sweet and is 12 years old. She was rescued from the pound and loves sleeping in sunny spots near windows. She has bad allergies and once "talked" to a pet psychic for a TV news story! Scooter is an orange 15 year old tabby cat. He was found abandoned in a drainage ditch filled with water and is still fascinated by water to this day! He loves jazz, has a weird obsession with women’s hair, and is a very sweet natured, loving cat. His nickname is "7 Pounds of Pure Fury" because he turns into a little beast if you take him to the doctor!

Lauren LaPonzina co-anchors FOX 35 News at 5AM and FOX 35 News at 8AM. She's also FOX 35's medical reporter. She has two dogs. Her "first born" is a purebred Golden Retriever she got from a breeder in New York. He has more diplomas than Lauren as he's a registered "pet therapy dog" and has been recognized by the American Kennel Club as a Canine Good Citizen. "Topper" has clearance to enter local hospitals, schools, and nursing homes to work with people with special needs. He's also been featured on Fox at Five and in the Syracuse New Times Newspaper. Sources say Lauren's television agent is considering dropping her and representing Topper instead. Lauren's newest addition is her rescue dog, "Bella." Bella is a purebred English Pointer who was dumped at a local shelter and was sitting on "death row" when she stole Lauren's heart. Bella has no formal education or accolades like her brother, Topper, but steals the show every time. She loves bones and anything soft to lounge on. Her dog bed, and Lauren's couch are her favorites. Bella and Topper are the best of friends. Tug of War is their favorite game this month.

Cris Martinez keeps you ahead of Central Florida’s traffic and the storms that roll through our area every weekday morning from 5-9AM. Hi my name is Himos and I'm a Shih Tzu. I am 9 months old and yes that makes me a Leo! You can usually catch me lounging around on my daddy's couch or in front of the fireplace while he is at work at FOX 35. I am very playful and  get along well with other doggies. I love to run around the house and yard until I get too tired. I love to eat and drink cold water too! Some of my favorite hobbies include: playing with tennis balls, wrestling other small dogs, eating, and learning new tricks so my daddy will give me treats. When I grow up I want to be a doggie meteorologist just like my daddy.
